Rangs Bhabon
"Really? Did the Rangs Bhaban Fiasco (delayed or pre-mature action) really be justified in today's Bangladesh? Why divert our limited resources and energies in chopping down buildings while floods and cost of living is going beyond any rescue or reach.
These are all minutiae ...small trivial things, in front of the more bigger than life issues...survival of a country not just individuals! Again I CALL ALL PRO BANGLADESHI to ask the CA to cut the Serpent's head off...cleanly and swiftly. Dont let your officials finger the underlings...they can be managed later, in due process.
What happened with Rangs Bhaban, leaves a bitter taste...the government should have taken over the building, rent it out during this money crunch period in Bangladesh. Later decide to demolish it all the way down (not just up to 6 floors) in order to pave a major road connection to Tejgoan Industrial Road and Dhaka Commercial District. And why give them only 24 hours, and cut off the utilities? That was very immature of whomever was responsible for the action.
Now we need tenders for demolishing the building and not to mention costing a pretty penny? The government and army can not afford to lose popular support, They need to remind themselves that Bangladeshis tend to be great sympathizers, born with a soft heart but thick skull that hides a tongue that is split at the ends ...ready to jump ship at the first call. And so with such callous and improper action in an untimely period will fuel counter-productive aspirations and diminish popular support for the government.
Come on, FOCUS....not foul (substitute with another 4 letter word it suits) us."

I bet some "fat-head" wasn't happy with the money Rang's offered, so let’s break down the top floors. What are we accomplishing by doing this sort of things!!
