Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding leader of Bangladesh. He was a true rabble-rousing leader. - Was assassinated by a group of 'wrongly motivated' Army officers on this day. The year - 1975. His family members, except two daughters were not speared from the brutality. The incident occurred just four years after the man attained freedom for the Bangladeshis, including his murderers.

Bangladeshis are such an unfortunate nation; for long 21 years, Bangabandhu's murder trails had been barred by Indemnity Ordinance. Yes. By Indemnity Ordinance by his fellow Bangladeshis. Killers of the man, who scarified his life for the land and the people, were awarded foreign postings. Much to the disgrace, they represented Bangladesh there.

Bangabandhu was successful in his second last mission - he brought freedom to the land. He failed; it seems, during re-building the nation, which was his last assignment. Did he fail? Starting from scratch, he had to deal with countless problems of the war ravaged Bangladesh. He got surrounded by sick people, who only were selfish and nothing else. They, including his sons, wanted personnel gain and they did. The country suffered, the people suffered, the land suffered.

Much tasks were ahead after the liberation. Restoring law and order, rehabilitating the refugees, restoring infrastructure, maintaining foreign relations - all were in the list. All had to be done by Bangabandhu? What did the others do, who criticize him till this day but could not do any single task successfully back than?

We are a nation, which killed the father to attain political gain. Morally, do we have any ground to ask for a prosperous and peaceful future?

I think not.

just like we cannot deny our father depite of his limitations, his faults, we cannot deny bangbandhu as a father of our nation.
no one is perfect. he may have blunders, but it does not mean it would negate his all achievments.

Hey have you ever thought giving the current government who are doing a colossal job cleaning up our country in every means possible some innovative ideas? Some tips? I would suggest two new avenues and that would get quick result too! Pick up all the eminent barristers and lawyers who are representing the corrupt BNP & AL hoodlums
Pick up all the CA's (yes, chartered accountants) from all the fancy CA firms who did they tax filing. Lock them up, do your drilling, or egg treatment as some call it or pull a Guantanomo Bay on them. They will squeal and we'll can get all the evidence for a speedy judgment. Some names like Rafiqullah, Rokonuddin, Kamal Hussian should be
behind bars like the dirt they represent in court! CA firms owned by Saifur Rahman should be shut down, others Qasem CA firm should be punished for be accomplices !

Get rid of the corrupt AND their tools!
